Werder to face Parma and Hoffenheim in friendlies

Training camp in Zillertal extended by one day

Werder Bremen will be heading back to Zillertal for the 14th time for their summer training camp ahead of the new Bundesliga campaign. New head coach Horst Steffen’s side now know who they will be facing in pre-season friendlies during their stay in Austria too.

The first opponents will be Serie A club Parma Calcio on Saturday, 26th July. The North-Italian side finished last season in 16th place. Kick-off at the Parkstadion in Zell am Tiller will be at 15:00 CEST for two 60-minutes halves.

Due to the scheduling of the Green-Whites’ second friendly, the training camp has been extended by one day. SVW have arranged back-to-back friendlies against league rivals TSG Hoffenheim, kicking off at 12:00 and 14:00 CEST on Friday, 1st August.
