Mitchell Weiser and SV Werder Bremen suffered a bitter blow in training on Wednesday afternoon as the winger sustained a serious knee injury. An MRI scan at the Paracelsus Clinic confirmed a tear of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, as diagnosed by team doctor Dr. Philip Heitmann.
