SV Werder Bremen will be without their defender Maximilian Wöber for the coming weeks. The 27-year-old has suffered a thigh muscle injury.

SV Werder Bremen lost 2-1 in a friendly behind closed doors against VfL Osnabrück on Saturday afternoon. The Green-Whites played two 30-minute halves behind closed doors but were beaten 1-0 by the Serie A side. The deciding goal was scored by Simone Pafundi in the fourth minute. The teams will face each other again at 15:30 CEST in the first game at the Weserstadion in 2025/26.

After four years with SV Werder, Marvin Ducksch’s time in Bremen has come to an end.
